Outdoor First Aid in the snow with LDNPA Volunteer Walk Leaders

Winter came back in style to Brockhole Visitor Centre on our Outdoor First Aid refresher courses with Volunteer Walk Leaders from Lake District National Park in March and April. Though by the time we ventured into the grounds of Brockhole to practice our first aid skills outside the snow had all gone. The teams were great and it's worth checking out the extensive programme of guided walks across the National Park. You'll be in good hands with your LDNPA Walk Leaders - they know their area, they know their navigation and they certainly know their first aid :-)!

Here some feedback from the course:

‘Course well presented and enjoyable’

‘Lot's of practical experience and repeating of important issues and techniques. This has made me more confident to deal with any first aid circumstances I come across’

‘Thank you very much Andrea, you were great’

‘I feel more confident now that I have an incident management system and techniques to deal with first aid incidents. Course was challenging at times but built towards a good outcome’

‘Very worthwhile course, thank you’
